    Dealers that promote and sell VELUX products as well as competitor products are allowed to buy the VELUX trademark as keywords to drive traffic to landing pages that display VELUX products only.

    Dealers that promote and sell VELUX products as well as competitor products must not buy the VELUX trademark as keyword to drive traffic to landing pages that display other than original VELUX products.

    Dealers that promote and sell competitor products only are not allowed to buy the VELUX trademark as keyword at all.

    The VELUX trademark in adtexts

    Dealers that promote and sell VELUX products as well as competitor products are allowed to use the VELUX trademark in the display url (subdomain) of the adtexts, if the adtexts is sending traffic to landing pages that display VELUX products only. The dealers will not be authorized to use the VELUX trademark in the headline or the description lines of the adtexts.

    Dealers that promote and sell both VELUX products and competitor products must not use the VELUX trademark in the display url of the adtexts to drive traffic to landing pages that display other than original VELUX products.

    Dealers that promote and sell competitor products only are not allowed to use the VELUX trademark in the display url at all.

    VELUX and Google do not tolerate text manipulation, e.g. “VELUXblinds” to enable use of the VELUX trademark in adtexts. The VELUX Group registers all violations and reports to Google.

    Google Shopping (PLA)

    The VELUX trademark as keyword

    Dealers that sell and promote both VELUX products and competitor products are allowed by Google to buy the VELUX trademark as keywords in all search engines to drive traffic to their shops and sites.

    The VELUX Group does not allow dealers of competitor products to use the VELUX trademark in the Google Shopping text, e.g. “VELUX windows”. Instead, the dealers are recommended to use a generic term like “roof windows”, when they want to send traffic to landing pages that only display competitor products.

    Also, dealers must not use the VELUX trademark for link building into pages that sell or promote competitor products.
